Everything you need to know about using ReccordSOP.
ReccordSOP turns screen recordings into structured Standard Operating Procedures. Record how you do something, and AI generates a step-by-step document your team can follow.
Click "+ New SOP" in the sidebar, select a department, then either upload a screen recording or start writing from scratch. The AI will transcribe your recording and generate a structured SOP within minutes.
Departments are how you organize your team — Engineering, HR, Sales, etc. Each SOP belongs to a department, and only members of that department can see its published SOPs.
Go to Manage in the sidebar, then click "+ create". Type the department name and hit Create. That's it.
Yes. A DevOps engineer might be in both Engineering and IT Operations. They'll see SOPs from all their departments.
There are three roles. Workspace Admin can create departments and manage everything. Department Head can create and edit SOPs in their department and manage its members. Department Member has read-only access to published SOPs in their departments.
Heads see the full dashboard — they can create SOPs, manage members, edit drafts, and publish. Members see a clean read-only view with only the published SOPs from their departments.
Yes. You might be the head of Engineering (creating SOPs there) and a member of HR (reading their published SOPs).
